Web Comic of the Week: 'VG Cats'

Everybody loves kitties and lots of people love web comics and if you happen to be the type of person that loves both, then you probably love video games too. And that’s why this week’s web comic, VG Cats, is for you. VG Cats (or Videogame Cats) parodies popular video games like Zelda and Sonic with illustrations of the Internet’s favorite little mammals as its main characters.
Cats Leo and Aeris are really in to their gaming, even if they don’t have opposable thumbs. The strip is chock full of video game allusions, which are perfect for your inner-nerd. Even if you don’t understand every reference to the obscure world of gaming, it’s certainly rewarding when you do. VG Cats is beautifully drawn by Scott Ramsoomair and has been in operation since 2001.
