Thought it was a given that a reporter would research their assignment. (Not all that hard to do either with the internet at your fingertips.) "Middle aged" is hardly an accurate description of a fan at a Macpodz party. Followers enjoy this band for their creative, rhythmic, musicality-- known for projecting an intense high energy . Impossible to listen to their music and not be movin' some body part.
Surprised the Editor at the Daily would not have instilled investigation as the foundation of journalism. Also note the "peanut gallery" type comments are best left to the junior high yearbook.
impressive... the quality of the article, not the middle-school-esque comments that have resulted.
so you don't agree with the review? is that really necessary to deride the quality of the writing? just because someone doesn't share your opinion doesn't mean that you need to pummel their efforts into the ground. and "princess"? come now people. this is a university's paper, is it not? i'm also surprised at the level of offense that some of the comments seem to express. you are not a member of the band (as i highly doubt said members would feel the need to comment in such a forum... and hopefully without the protective guise of anonymity). these are not your songs, your melodies or your efforts. you are a passive consumer: if you enjoy the music, lovely. if not, that's fine too. why the need to pledge oneself to something in such a manner as to find it necessary to insult another?
keep up the good work kristyn. here's to future reviews... positive and negative as they may be.
thanks mom
love, kristyn

Kristyn,
You must not like the the music of the Macpodz, or maybe you do, I don't know, because your writing sucks and has no point. Clearly, you've never been to a Macpodz show. Girls, guys, young and old alike love the podz. Not just middle age jazz fans as you describe. And I would describe their sound not so much as clunky but more FUNKY, FUN, ENERGETIC, and SEXY! A show worth paying to go see wihout a doubt! You should try it sometime.
worst. article. ever.
kristyn: not sure if you just don't understand music, or writing in general, but you did turn your assignment in on time so we're printing it anyways!
good luck, princess!
