Now is the time for our coach to really show his stuff, to pull from the vast talent that he has assembled and turn this team around and start winning. With our recruiting, our depth, our coaches, and our fans, we need to do better against Miami. It seems to me that the "goal support" that kept a record-breaking goalie on the bench during his senior season and lead to a first round out against Air Force continues to haunt us, despite we get the cream of the crop in forwards, who can score and win, but somehow don't. Getting Chris Brown as a frosh from the national team for example, and seeing him put the only puck in the Miami net, is where it begins. But what happened during the rest of the game? As talented as Brown is (and wow I'm glad we got him), others have to build on what he started and play like Wolverines.
I'm really hoping the team will build on the experiences this weekend and get a game ready for State on Friday. The Spartans are not going to take us lightly, even though we had a tough weekend. Go Blue.
