yo, press is press. thanks for the shout-out grundy, my 15 minutes could have never been possible without constipated writers such as yourself :)

Lighten up, everyone. This article is hilarious, and not intended to be offensive. Don't be so uptight and try to learn to laugh.

I LOVE this article

I completely agree with Elizabeth. These sounded like good costumes -- and really, whose to judge what you can and cannot dress up as for Halloween (except, of course, dressing in black- or red-face which is just blatantly racist and unnecessary)? Just because this guy decided to dress up as a person doesn't make inanimate object any less legitimate as Halloween costumes. I think the best costumes I've seen lately have been the people that dress as Facebook pages, and dressing up as an MCard is like taking the pop-culture reference of Facebook and making it specific to U-M. Why not talk about the young women I saw walking around in their underwear with a sailor's hat or cat ears on? That's not a costume, unless you're dressing up as a stripper for Halloween.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Actually...besides a possibly awkward man in tights...those costumes sound awesome. Especially MCard girl, that's hilarious.

If the author is trying to be ironic, it didn't work with me. Arbitrary objects are to be found all over on Halloween...fried egg, bacon, crayon, etc. Why choose mustard and milk to berate? And it's way better than wearing yellow & black with a tutu and claiming to be a bee.
