Very well said. And to add to that, there's always a next time. It's the experience that matters not always the win. Thanks for sharing. By the way, being a great sports fan is rewarding too! While I think the defense has had some issues all year long, it is apparent that getting in the red zone and only being 25% effective isn't going to win the game. The offense is sputtering and blaming the defense is only missing the notion that the offense failures are causing the defense to be on the field too much and it never gets any rest. It is critical to take into account the angle of pursuit when a receiver is on a long ball, for RR to put in the strong back on 1st and Goal, not Brown, and to take points, whether it is a field goal or TD to calm down the atmosphere and the pace of the game; which obviously noone on the sidelines thought to consider in college football. Michigan blew it and Tate needs to not start this weekend until he can learn to play in cold weather.

I'm extremely disappointed to hear about how many players were surprised and shocked that the game got out of hand because frankly it seems like any humbling that may have occurred as a result of last year's season wore off. This team is nowhere near a point where they can assume victory. The only legitimate win this year was against Notre Dame, but apparently that was enough for them to assume that they were worthy of again be crowned one of the NCAA's elite. Even still you'd think that after losing 3 of your last 4 (only beating Delaware State, who's marching band looked better than their football team) that you'd regain a sense of urgency regardless of the opponent. Hopefully the team will begin to realize that you have to work hard every week, especially when it seems more and more true that Rich Rod's system isn't going to work in the big ten.
