I'd be OK with this article, if it weren't written so dick-y. So yes, I am feeding the troll. Remember, journalists have something called "cultural competency." They usually, more or less, know what the funk they're talking about. And sometimes, it can be fun to disagree with them. Sometimes, it's fun to argue over and discuss a work. Sometimes, they can introduce us to something worthwhile, we might not have known about. Sometimes, they're just crappy at writing.

That last statement is probably the most true in this writer's belt of tricks.

We ran a critic like you out of town a few years ago.

I bet you think porno movies high art like that one did.

You wouldn't know talent if it bit you. That's why you are a critic.

Those without talent - criticize.

Maybe you should get out of the art business since you OBVIOUSLY don't recognized talent.

And then again, you are considering television "Art." And you are considering STUDENTS as arbiters of taste. When I was in college the dorm TV was ALWAYS on soap operas, I bet you guys are watching "Dancing with the Stars" or "Survivor." Like THAT is ART?

I'm sorry, YOU need to find another line of work before some city runs YOU out of town too.
