I agreed and I also don't follow sports all that closely, but I had gathered from my reading that this was Michigan's FOURTH game of the season.

3) Michigan State

This game is over. MSU won fair and square. It is time to move on. Truthfully, Iowa is a bigger game for Michigan
Iowa may be a tougher team to beat than Penn State. Time to refocus.
What about going for two at the end of regulation? Tate looked so winded out there at the end; it was more likely he could will the offense through one more play than to try and sustain another drive through overtime (and also have the defense hold on).
They were playing on adrenaline and the momentum was totally in their favor. Overtime gives the other team a chance to regroup and refocus.
