We'll need some luck. Stranger things have happened...keep the faith.

I disagree, Chuck. They had to go 60 yards, with 2 TO and 2:00 left. They had a K that could only make short FGs. They would have had to throw, and if we had gotten pressure (or brought pressure), Chappell would have struggled (he had all game, when we brought pressure). And with that "catch", they would have had a 2nd and 5 with the clock running.
I was impressed with Forcier, who shook off 3 poor quarters and had a great 4th.
We were lucky. Indiana got the short end of the stick in the duel posession call. Had the call gone their way, they probably would have won. It was a hollow vistory at best.

ummm whaaat? This story is very hard to read... are there any editors working there?
The results are coming in, and the picture is getting clearer: this year's Wolverines play at about the same level as, and just a smidgen better than, the unranked Fighting Irish and Hoosiers. You can't be too pleased with it, but you couldn't realistically expect much more than this yet either. Plus we're just too darned small. (It would help if they could play like real wolverines.)
Brace yourself for some doses of reality at Wisconsin and when Penn State and OSU come to town. MSU's a dicey thing too, always more than willing to play spoilers and ruin everything no matter how much they've already screwed up their own season.
We'll need some luck. Stranger things have happened...keep the faith.
