'M' women's basketball takes on Minnesota

Last time the Michigan women’s basketball team laced up against Minnesota was Feb. 15, last year. It lost 60-59 at Crisler Arena.
That gave the Wolverines their 11th Big Ten lost at the time and the Golden Gophers their seventh straight win against Michigan.

Michigan center fielder Ryan LaMarre named to third team preseason All-America team

Michigan junior center fielder Ryan LaMarre was named to Baseball America's third-team All American team Friday. LaMarre was also named a third team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association in December.

Report: Defensive back recruit Dorsey confessed to two burglaries in 2007

After questions arose at yesterday's Signing Day press conference about star recruit Demar Dorsey's previous felony charges, the Detroit Free Press has obtained documents today that reportedly show that Dorsey was an active participant in and confessed to two burglaries in 2007.

The Michigan hockey team is in Bowling Green for some rare midweek college hockey action. The Wolverines lost at Yost in the first game they played against the Falcons this season, but rebounded when the two teams squared off in Toledo a day later.

Four-star safety recruit Dorsey chooses Michigan, Talbott and Ash stay Blue

With little signing day drama on the docket for the Wolverines, they had two potential signees make their decisions this morning and early afternoon.
First, CA four-star safety Sean Parker opted to sign with Washington over the Wolverines.
But their next approach proved to be successful.
