LIVE BLOG: Michigan hockey takes on Bowling Green

We are LIVE at Yost for the first game of Michigan's home-and-home series with Bowling Green. After four straight losses the Wolverines take on the Falcons who have won one game this season, last weekend against Alaska Fairbanks. Michigan's uninspiring offense so far this season takes on Bowling Green goaltender Nick Eno who was spectacular in the Falcons' only win.

Due to technical difficulities I wasn't able to sign on until 5:37 left in the first period. Sorry about that but we are LIVE in East Lansing and Michigan State has just scored on a nice pass play from behind the net out in front as Llewellyn lost sight of his man, 1-0 Michigan State.

Former Wolverine Henne is alone in Miami

Did you see the Miami vs. New England football game Sunday?
I did, and I felt bad for former Wolverine quarterback Chad Henne. No, I felt terrible for the man.
Henne played a pretty decent game, completing 19 of 34 passes for 219 yards. On the Dolphins' final drive of the game, down by seven, Henne looked to Miami wide receiver, Ted Ginn, Jr.

'U' of New Mexico soccer player Elizabeth Lambert goes "WWE" in Mountain West Tournament

Elizabeth Lambert was just a student-athlete at New Mexico University a few days ago.
But after the junior soccer defender went "WWE" on multiple BYU players last Thursday, her actions have stimulated a wide-response from the country, and she has become a nationally recognized athlete.
